Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
• CFA/CPA professional credentials are preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience including coverage or knowledge of Retail & Consumer sectors.
• Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience is a plus.
• Experience in managing or mentoring others is a plus.
• Strong Excel and Word proficiency and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality for Retail & Consumer.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Meet with industry management teams to gather insights.
• Present analysis to internal credit rating committees.
• Communicate rating rationale to external audiences (investors, analysts, media).
• Write timely research on topical issues and evaluate other credits.
• Represent Fitch in industry events and panel discussions; mentor junior staff.
