JPMorgan Chase, a leading global bank, seeks a Senior Associate on the Wholesale CRE Portfolio Analytics team in New York. You will evaluate market trends and loan performance across multifamily and other property types, delivering data-driven insights to strengthen credit risk assessment.

You will apply Python and SQL to large data sets, build dashboards in Tableau/QlikSense, and collaborate with modeling teams and senior partners to identify emerging risks and operational improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.
• 3+ years of Wholesale Credit Risk management experience (market analysis, economic research, trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and ability to develop dashboards and data visualizations (Tableau, QlikSense).
• Experience in software/programming such as Alteryx, Python or SQL.
• Desire to use modern technologies as a disruptive influence within banking.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate CRE data including portfolio concentrations, client and property financials, appraisal, macro-economic data, and real estate market trends and assess impacts on loan performance and risk across property types.
• Analyze CRE loan risk grading methodologies to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficient decision-making; partner with technology/production teams for deployment.
• Manage end-to-end portfolio analytics for Multifamily property type within the CRE business.
• Lead thematic and portfolio research initiatives to identify emerging risk trends and inform proactive risk management strategies.
• Utilize Python and SQL to manage large data sets, backtest, and conduct portfolio analytics to validate models.
• Explore optional use of LLMs to synthesize information and generate comprehensive reports.
• Develop/refine RSA factors to create analytics-driven market and portfolio insights and indicators.
• Partner with modeling teams for CRE grading model back-testing and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to monitor elevated risk segmentation and provide specialized analysis.
