Qualifications
- 10+ years of CRE lending experience including origination support and portfolio management.
- Working knowledge of CRE product types including Bridge, Permanent (Perm), and Lines of Credit.
- Experience supporting typical transaction sizes in the $5MM–$30MM range or similar scope/complexity.
- Experience with ground-up construction properties.
- Underwriting support experience identifying risks related to sponsor strength, market conditions, tenancy, cash flow, and collateral quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead underwriting and credit analysis for CRE transactions, evaluating borrower financials, guarantor strength, cash flow, liquidity, contingencies and sponsor experience.
- Apply market-standard credit metrics (DSCR, LTV, covenanting, Debt Yield) and scenario analysis to assess viability and risk.
- Evaluate collateral and market fundamentals including submarket conditions, tenant concentration, rent comps, capital needs and exit strategies.
