Jobot is seeking a Relationship Manager with CRE experience in ground-up construction and bridge loans in California. The role focuses on underwriting and credit analysis for CRE transactions, evaluating borrower strength, cash flows, and collateral, with a hybrid work arrangement in Costa Mesa.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in CRE lending, experience with $5M–$30M transactions, and the ability to structure terms and risk mitigants.

Qualifications

• CRE lending experience with ground-up construction and bridge loans.
• Ability to structure terms, pricing, and covenants.
• Experience evaluating borrower financials, guarantor strength, and cash flows.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and credit analysis for CRE transactions, including borrower financials, guarantor strength, cash flow, liquidity, liabilities and sponsor experience.
• Apply market-standard metrics (DSCR, LTV, covenanting) and scenario analysis to assess viability and risk.
• Evaluate collateral and market fundamentals, including submarket conditions, tenant concentration and rent comps.
• Structure transactions with terms, pricing and risk mitigants including covenants, reserves, guarantees, amortization and recourse structures.
• Support CRE transactions in the $5M–$30M range and ground-up construction properties.
• Provide underwriting support and identify key risks related to sponsor strength, market conditions, tenancy, cash flow and collateral quality.
