Job summary

Arizona Financial Credit Union is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer to originate, structure, negotiate, and manage complex CRE credit relationships. The role focuses on acquisition, construction, development, bridge, refinance, and permanent financing across property types.

The position emphasizes serving as a trusted advisor to investors, developers, sponsors, and owners, with opportunities to grow deposits and cross-sell treasury, insurance, and investment products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Real Estate, Economics, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of CRE lending experience; 5+ years independently originating and managing CRE lending relationships.
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex CRE relationships and developing referral networks.
• Strong knowledge of CRE lending structures, cash flow analysis, and risk management.
• Experience negotiating and structuring complex CRE transactions with multiple entities and guarantors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with CRE investors, developers, sponsors, and brokers.
• Identify and pursue CRE lending opportunities through networking and market leadership.
• Achieve production, portfolio growth, and relationship development goals.
• Provide sophisticated financing solutions and guidance to borrowers and sponsors.
• Manage large, complex CRE relationships and supervise related underwriting and portfolio management tasks.
• Lead structuring and negotiation of CRE transactions with multiple borrower entities and guarantors.
• Review financial statements, appraisals, rent rolls, and other due diligence to assess credit viability.
• Coordinate with underwriting, legal, appraisers, and third parties to execute complex loan transactions.
