Job summary

PGIM Real Estate is seeking an experienced Originator to source and originate commercial real estate debt investments for PGIM’s investors, focusing on Core Plus and transitional assets. You will lead the loan origination process and manage relationships with borrowers and intermediaries.

Your responsibilities include underwriting, structuring, and closing loans, while mentoring a team of analysts and associates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial real estate lending.
• Strong track record originating and negotiating commercial real estate loans.
• Knowledge of Core Plus and transitional bridge lending.
• Established borrower and broker relationships in Northern California and Pacific Northwest.
• Credit mindset with ability to structure and underwrite loans.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate commercial real estate debt investments across the United States for PGIM’s investors.
• Manage all aspects of the loan origination process: analysis, underwriting, debt structuring, pricing, presentations to senior management, due diligence, closing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, intermediaries, and existing clients across PGIM’s platform.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts and associates.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
