Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in credit analysis/underwriter roles.
• Alternative: 14+ years of equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, cash flow, GAAP vs tax-based statements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex financial underwriting for transactions between $10M and $50M.
• Independently analyze credit deals and recommend optimal structures and pricing.
• Identify and document policy exceptions while gathering financial data from clients.
• Present credit analysis to loan committees and serve as a subject-matter expert.
• Write commitment reports and present loan renewals or support syndications.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to develop new credit business.
• Supervise analysts and interns, manage credit workflow, covenant testing and financial spreading.
• Monitor borrower compliance, review and negotiate legal documents, and coordinate with Capital Markets on swaps and prepayments.
