Job summary

Customers Bank is hiring a Commercial Credit Analyst / Underwriter to support our commercial real estate lending activities. You will prepare comprehensive written credit analyses and monitor client financials under the Credit Underwriting Lead.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in credit memoranda, and familiarity with nCino/Salesforce. A Bachelor’s degree and MS Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate credit analysis experience in a banking institution preferred.
• Experience in preparation of credit memoranda is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with nCino and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong skills working with MS Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement spreading and originate comprehensive written analysis for new clients and annual reviews.
• Prepare industry research to support credit analysis and assist lending officers in decision process.
• Read and understand loan documents; ensure compliance with terms and conditions; monitor post-closing covenants and financial reporting.
• Maintain complete and updated credit files; coordinate with clients for current financial statements.
• Meet with clients and prospects to understand business activities and financial condition.
• Provide credit administration support to lending officers and Regional Credit Officer to manage risk.
