Job summary

CapEd Credit Union seeks a Commercial Loan Credit Analyst to provide thorough credit analysis for commercial loan relationships, including C&I and CRE, and to manage portfolio risk. The role collaborates with Lending teams to review, renew, and support loan decisions.

You will perform due diligence, financial statement spread analysis, and prepare concise written analyses while interacting with members and supporting loan closings.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or industry certifications in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive credit analysis of new and existing commercial & industrial, and commercial real estate loan relationships.
• Perform due diligence of new credit opportunities, ensure loan requests comply with policies, analyze financial statements, and form an independent risk rating.
• Manage the commercial loan portfolio and perform stress-testing and trend analyses.
• Assist with loan closings and preparation of loan packets and memorandums.
• Participate in ALCO discussions and monitor portfolio performance.
