American Equipment HR LLC is seeking an Experienced Crane Technician to join the North Slope, AK team. The role covers high-level inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists, with opportunities to advance from Level 2 through Master level.

Responsibilities include field service, troubleshooting 3-motion cranes with VFDs, and mentoring junior technicians while maintaining strict safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Experience in crane service or industrial maintenance.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists per OEM manuals and OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair crane control systems including 480VAC 3-phase motor controls.
• Rigs up and installs cranes and hoists with proper safety procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians and document service records accurately.
• Communicate repair plans and required parts clearly to customers.
