Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Rigging Superintendent in Brownsville, TX to supervise rigging discipline operations on the Rio Grande LNG project. You will guide crane and rigging craft, coordinate with sub-contractors, and ensure work complies with Bechtel procedures, OSHA standards, and project schedules.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience, NCCCO/NCCER certifications, and LNG site experience along the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Certified rigger/signal person and crane operator certification (NCCCO/NCCER or equivalent).
• Experience on LNG construction site along the U.S. Gulf Coast preferred.
• Ability to read crane manuals and load charts.

Responsibilities

• Provide ES&H leadership and lead safety meetings.
• Ensure crane and rigging ops comply with procedures and regs.
• Plan manpower and equipment to execute the job.
• Coordinate and supervise craft activities and training.
• Maintain site safety and zero accident philosophy.
