Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Lead Superintendent to manage craft professionals on an LNG project in Brownsville, TX. You will direct supervision, coordinate subcontract activities, and ensure the team has tools and resources to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 5–12 years of relevant experience, including heavy industrial construction and LNG site exposure. Strong communication and safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy and ES&H manuals.
• Experience on LNG construction sites, preferably along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
• Heavy industrial construction experience aligned with the project scope.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs craft activities and schedules, coordinating subcontract work.
• Ensures tools, equipment and materials are available for productive work.
• Monitors safety, quality, and adherence to project policies and budgets.
• Interprets Engineering design documents and coordinates with engineers and subcontractors.
