Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Rigging Superintendent to supervise rigging operations on a Brownsville LNG project. You will lead crane and rigging crews, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with Bechtel procedures, OSHA regulations, and project schedules.

The role requires LNG site experience and a strong safety mindset. The position involves coordinating with foremen, arranging manpower, reviewing time records, and supporting cost and schedule goals.

Qualifications

• Certified rigger/signal person (NCCCO/NCCER or equivalent).
• Certified crane operator with relevant certifications and licenses.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and standards, plus safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide ES&H leadership and safety meetings for the department.
• Ensure crane and rigging operations comply with Bechtel procedures and regulations.
• Engage in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and sign FLHA cards for rigging activities.
• Manage site cranes, rigging setup, and ground bearing conditions.
• Oversee crane operator qualification program and certifications."
• Coordinate craft labor recruitment, training, and timesheet reviews.
• Prepare materials, look-ahead schedules, and project forecasts.
