Fifth Third is seeking a Senior CRA MLO in Austin to originate residential 1st mortgage loans, focusing on CRA products for low to moderate-income areas. You will manage the loan from application to close, assist with referrals, and participate in community partnerships.

The role requires knowledge of mortgage processing, underwriting, and lending regulations, plus strong communication and organizational skills. Remote/hybrid options are available with strong incentive-based compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent mandatory.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Familiarity with NMLS requirements and SAFÉ Act registration.

Responsabilités

• Lead internal and external CRA Sales and Partnership meetings.
• Assist CRA MLO colleagues with general loan support and business development.
• Develop and maintain CRA prospects and referral contacts (realtors, builders, professionals).
• Manage mortgage loan pipelines from application to closing.
• Provide timely updates to applicants and referral sources.
