Job summary

Intel is seeking a Senior CPU Design Verification Engineer to validate Intel Atom CPU designs before silicon. You will lead pre-silicon verification, develop testbenches, and collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and power teams to improve verification coverage and efficiency.

The role focuses on architectural correctness, functional robustness, and power-aware performance in a hands-on senior capacity within ISA/SoC contexts. Hybrid work model with US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE/CE with relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience (Bachelor’s) or 2+ years (Master’s).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-silicon functional verification of CPU/SoC logic to ensure architectural compliance.
• Develop testbenches, verification plans, and SystemVerilog/UVM environments.
• Run system-level simulations to find functional, performance, and power issues.
• Debug RTL/microarchitecture issues with design teams to drive resolution.
• Collaborate with CPU architects, RTL designers, power teams and physical design.
• Maintain and scale verification infrastructure and automation.
