Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• OR Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• OR PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 16+ years of work experience in high‑performance microprocessor design.

Responsibilities

• Leverages expert knowledge of computer architecture, micro‑architecture, logic design, circuits, and/or physical design to direct and drive development and verification of high performance CPU designs.
• Directs and oversees identification and solutions of highly complex problems to ensure design completeness, functionality, power, and performance.
• Collaborates with critical stakeholders to define requirements, specifications, and trade‑offs to accomplish product goals.
• Directs and communicates guidelines for evaluation of the design process from conceptualization to productization across teams.
