Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to validate CPU and SOC micro-architectures with engineers.

You will craft test and coverage plans from architecture concepts, develop verification environments, and ensure features are launch-ready through DV plan execution and thorough debugging. You will lead verification activities, build portable testbenches, and use diverse verification tools to measure progress and coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of hardware/software/SysEng experience.
• Master’s degree plus 3+ years of hardware/software experience.
• PhD plus 2+ years of hardware/software experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with CPU and SOC Architects to understand concepts and high-level system requirements.
• Develop detailed Test and Coverage plans based on Architecture and Micro-architecture.
• Develop Verification Methodology for scalable, portable DV across environments.
• Build Verification environment including Stimulus, Checkers, Assertions, Trackers, and Coverage.
• Create Verification Plans and Testbenches for your functional domain.
• Execute plans including Design Bring-up, DV environment bring-up, regressions, and debugging.
• Track and report DV progress using Bugs and Coverage metrics.
