Job summary

SiFive is seeking a Staff Design Verification Engineer to drive verification for high-performance CPU core units. This is a senior, individual-contributor role within the CPU Design Verification organization, spanning Frontend, Midcore, Load-Store Unit and Hardware Prefetch.

You will collaborate with architecture, RTL, performance and verification teams to ensure design intent is captured, risks identified early, and signoff quality achieved with scalable methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE/CE/CS.
• 7+ years of ASIC/CPU verification experience.
• Strong SystemVerilog and UVM experience.
• Experience with CPU/core verification and architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own verification planning and execution for high-performance CPU core areas such as Frontend, Midcore, Load-Store Unit, or Hardware Prefetch.
• Drive block- and core-level verification planning, debug, coverage analysis, and closure for complex CPU features.
