Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior CPU Design Methodology Engineer to develop system-level methodologies and tools for scalable SOC construction. You will work across ASIC, RTL, CAD, and packaging teams to optimize front-end flow and RTL quality.

The role requires a Master’s in Computer or Electrical Engineering, 8+ years in SOC design and automation, and strong scripting skills (Perl/Python). Equity and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of chip design experience, specializing in SOC integration and design automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in RTL design (Verilog), verification (UVM, System Verilog), SOC design/integration flow, and design automation.
  • Strong coding skills in Perl, Python, or other industry-standard scripting languages.
  • Experience in synthesis and physical design is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and develop system-level methodologies and tools to build SOCs efficiently and scalably.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the front-end chip implementation and propose improvements.
  • Own front-end design quality checks to deliver high-quality RTL to the physical design team.
