Overview

Clyde & Co US LLP seeks senior attorneys with 10+ years of experience to join our growing litigation defense practice in Seattle. The practice covers a wide range of liability and insurance challenges, including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, trucking/transportation claims and employment and property disputes.

Responsibilities

• Take depositions, attend hearings and mediations as required.
• Draft and submit pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis and Nexis.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Review and analyze documents and materials for production.
• Actively investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies.
• Effectively report to insurance carrier clients and insureds.
• Prepare cases for trial or mediation and participate in trial or mediation.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Washington State.
• Experience in civil litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Capability to handle sensitive and time‑critical matters simultaneously.
• Effective problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Salary Range
