Overview
Clyde & Co US LLP seeks senior attorneys with 10+ years of experience to join our growing litigation defense practice in Seattle. The practice covers a wide range of liability and insurance challenges, including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, trucking/transportation claims and employment and property disputes.
Responsibilities
- Take depositions, attend hearings and mediations as required.
- Draft and submit pleadings, motions and briefs.
- Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis and Nexis.
- Draft discovery requests and responses.
- Review and analyze documents and materials for production.
- Actively investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies.
- Effectively report to insurance carrier clients and insureds.
- Prepare cases for trial or mediation and participate in trial or mediation.
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice in Washington State.
- Experience in civil litigation.
- Excellent legal research, writing and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Capability to handle sensitive and time‑critical matters simultaneously.
- Effective problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $200,000 – $235,000. The range reflects the variety of factors considered in compensation decisions, including skill set, experience, licensure, certifications and business needs.
