Job summary

Old National Bank seeks an experienced Senior Counsel for Treasury Management and General Banking to support Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Financial Institutions teams. This role also serves branches and operations with strategic legal guidance.

The position requires deep knowledge of federal and state banking laws, strong communication, and the ability to advise management at all levels. The salary range is $200,000–$230,000 with bonus; onsite in multiple markets across the

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of legal experience in financial institutions.
• Active bar membership in IL/IN/MN or eligible for in-house practice.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to advise Bank management at all levels.
• Knowledge of applicable banking laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Financial Institution groups.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements and disclosures.
• Advise on product development initiatives and new payment technologies.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk and operations to maintain policies and contracts.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate implications to stakeholders.
• Manage paralegals/outside counsel and support other areas as needed.
