Old National Bank is seeking a Senior Counsel specializing in Treasury Management and General Banking. The role provides legal and regulatory guidance to Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and Financial Institutions teams, with broad scope across the Bank’s operations.

Qualified candidates will have 10–15 years of legal experience in financial services, bar admission in applicable states, and strong analytical and collaborative skills to support regulatory compliance and product development

Formación

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in legal work within financial institutions.
• Experience advising treasury management, merchant services, and financial institutions teams.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal support for Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Financial Institution teams; conduct legal research and advise on applicable laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements and disclosures.
• Provide legal guidance for product development, new payment technologies, and digital banking to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Partner with compliance, risk and operations to develop and maintain policies, procedures and contract frameworks.
• Respond to inquiries from branches, help desk and operations with timely, clear legal guidance.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting commercial banking and payments; communicate implications to stakeholders.
• Coordinate and work on bank projects; manage paralegals and outside counsel as needed.
• Support other areas of the Bank as requested.
