Qualifications

• JD required; licensed to practice in a state
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in-house, government-sponsored entity, agency, bank or law firm

Responsibilities

• Advise internal clients on mortgage eligibility, credit policies and Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer Guide matters
• Draft contract provisions for mortgage loan purchases and pricing structures
• Develop and draft new initiatives; amend Guide; review external communications and training materials
• Collaborate with internal peers and regulators on mortgage purchase eligibility matters
• Advise on matters requiring approval by regulatory conservator/regulator
