Job summary

Expeditors, based in Bellevue, WA, seeks an experienced Corporate Counsel to support Real Estate and Global Sourcing. The role involves advising internal clients, drafting and negotiating complex agreements, and coordinating with landlords, vendors, and service providers across time zones.

The ideal candidate combines 7+ years of legal practice with deep commercial real estate and technology experience, plus in-house background.

Qualifications

JD and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
7+ years of legal practice, with deep experience in commercial real estate and technology matters.
Prior in-house experience preferred; law firm experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

Handle real estate leasing, amendments, estoppels, and construction build-outs.
Draft, negotiate, and advise on SaaS, AI, developer, and IT vendor agreements.
Lead or support commercial procurement and capital project contracting.
Advise on transportation agreements with global air and ocean carriers.
Provide clear, business-centric legal guidance to internal clients.
Partner cross-functionally with legal, procurement, and operations teams worldwide.
Assisting with outside counsel management as part of the Legal Department’s strategic initiatives.
