Job summary

Pye Legal Group seeks an experienced Senior Counsel for its in-house team, focusing on procurement, supply chain, and commercial contracts across a global engineering and construction landscape. You will draft and negotiate complex agreements, guide project teams, and shape contract templates and processes.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. with 7+ years of transactional experience, including as in-house counsel, with a practical, business-minded approach and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and 7+ years of transactional experience, including in-house counsel.
• Strong background in procurement, supply chain, commercial contracting, or construction law.
• Experience negotiating vendor, contractor/subcontractor, EPC, design-build, technology, and consulting agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex procurement, supply chain, vendor, services, IT, and consulting agreements.
• Handle contracts including purchase orders, NDA, licensing, leasing, and SaaS/IT agreements; IP licensing where relevant.
• Support projects on commercial and construction-related contracts such as EPC and design-build; advise on risk, payment terms, insurance, and change orders.
• Develop contract templates, processes, and best practices; train junior attorneys and paralegals.
