Alteryx, Inc. is seeking a Senior Counsel, Privacy & Security to lead complex negotiations on privacy, data protection, information security, and AI matters. This role requires strong transactional experience within software environments and in-house practice, with AR/AI awareness and independence in a fast-paced business setting.

The position is remote-friendly, with compensation in the US market and a comprehensive benefits package through the Legal team.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney admitted to practice in at least one US state.
• Seven+ years of in-house counsel experience.
• Extensive negotiation of privacy, data protection, and information security terms in enterprise software deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer contract negotiations on privacy, data protection, information security, AI, HIPAA, and related requirements.
• Negotiate vendor terms and coordinate with stakeholders to assess risk and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain standardized agreements, addenda, and privacy/security templates and public-facing materials.
