Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Senior Counsel to support the Premium Products & Experiences team, focusing on premium credit card products, benefits, and customer experiences. The role involves advising on strategy, assessing legal risks, and collaborating across Legal and business units to drive responsible initiatives.

You will engage with senior partners, learn from a dynamic team, and contribute to cross-functional efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
At least 5 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm environment, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate, or as in-house counsel.

Responsibilities

Identifying and assessing legal risks associated with Capital One's premium credit card business.
Knowing your business in depth so you can interpret laws, regulations and legal requirements for the business teams and the business intent for the legal team and legal subject matter experts.
Actively engaging with colleagues to provide legal support as part of a collaborative and cross-functional team; and
Working with PPX, Card, Brand, the Business Risk Office, Corporate Communications, and Compliance stakeholders to address risks, develop creative solutions, and resolve issues.
