Ryerson seeks a Counsel, Litigation & Compliance to lead litigation, investigations, and compliance initiatives across North America. Reporting to the General Counsel North America & Chief Compliance Officer, the role offers high visibility and interaction with senior leadership.

You will advise HR and business leaders on employment law, data privacy, and governance matters, while overseeing insurance and risk management and contributing to strategic legal projects.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar admission.
• 3+ years of legal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or both.
• Experience with litigation, investigations, and disputes; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage litigation, claims, investigations, and disputes across North America.
• Advise HR and business leaders on employment law matters, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Oversee insurance claims, coverage matters, carrier relationships, and renewals.
