Cardinal Health is seeking a practical, collaborative healthcare attorney to serve as Senior Counsel, At-Home Solutions. This role supports commercial contracting, strategic relationships, and operations for DMEPOS, At-Home, and VeloCare businesses during a period of acquisition and integration.

The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day legal support, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and advise on new services and commercial models while balancing risk and business goals.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction in good standing.
• A minimum of 5 years of healthcare legal experience, including DMEPOS, healthcare distribution, medical products, logistics, home-based care, pharmacy, or other regulated business.
• Meaningful experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience advising on both customer-facing and vendor-facing commercial arrangements preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare fraud and abuse, privacy, billing and reimbursement, licensure, or other healthcare operations laws.
• Practical, business-focused legal judgment with the ability to understand new business models and complex operational arrangements.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a day-to-day commercial legal partner for At-Home Solutions businesses, advising on commercial and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements across customer, supplier, vendor, manufacturer, distribution, services, technology, and logistics.
• Counsel on contract risk, new services, commercial models, operational changes, and interpretation of existing agreements.
• Identify legal/compliance issues, communicate risks clearly, and involve subject-matter experts when needed.
• Support strategic projects, integrations, technology implementations, and contract interpretation questions.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, Sales, Regulatory, and Compliance to structure commercial arrangements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, intake processes, and training to improve speed and consistency.
• Manage multiple matters with competing priorities and escalate significant risks appropriately.
