Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a practical, business-oriented healthcare attorney to serve as Senior Counsel, At-Home Solutions. This role supports DMEPOS, At-Home, and VeloCare businesses during acquisition, integration, and growth.

The Senior Counsel will provide commercial legal support, draft and negotiate agreements, advise on risk, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable new services and business models.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare legal experience, including DMEPOS, healthcare distribution, medical products, logistics, home-based care, or pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day commercial legal partner for At-Home Solutions businesses.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across customer, supplier, vendor, manufacturer, distribution, services, technology, and strategic relationships.
• Counsel the business on contract risk, new services, commercial models, operational changes, and interpretation of existing agreements.
• Identify legal and compliance issues, communicate risks and options clearly, and involve subject-matter experts when needed.
• Support strategic projects, integrations, technology implementations, and service launches.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, Sales, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, intake processes, and training to speed contracting and reduce risk.
