Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a practical, business-oriented healthcare attorney to serve as Senior Counsel, At-Home Solutions. This role will support growing healthcare businesses within At-Home Solutions at an exciting point of acquisition, integration, transformation, and operational momentum, including: Cardinal Health’s DMEPOS businesses, Cardinal Health at-Home, and VeloCare.
The Senior Counsel will provide commercial legal support across one or more of these businesses, focused on
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required.
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare legal experience preferred (DMEPOS, healthcare distribution, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day commercial legal partner for At-Home Solutions businesses.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across customers, vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, distribution and services.
- Counsel on contract risk, new services, commercial models, and interpretation of agreements.
- Identify legal/compliance issues and communicate risks clearly to stakeholders.
- Support strategic projects, integrations, technology implementations, and service launches.
