Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel for Financial Privacy & Emerging Data Use. You’ll advise on privacy laws and industry standards for financial products, work with cross-functional teams, and help design compliant, customer-focused data initiatives. A strong JD and active U.S.

bar are required, with 3+ years of relevant experience. You’ll influence policy, draft agreements, and lead privacy impact assessments in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as in-house, top law firm, or government attorney with relevant experience
• JD from ABA-accredited university with outstanding academic credentials
• Current bar membership (in good standing) in at least one U.S. state
• Privacy experience preferred
• Ability to navigate complex matters and provide strategic guidance

Responsibilities

• Advise on privacy laws and industry standards impacting financial products and services
• Counsel on GLBA, FCRA, state privacy laws, and emerging consumer privacy rules
• Advise on privacy for data-driven products and AI-enabled offerings
• Guide privacy impact assessments and analyses of products, services, and processes
• Draft and negotiate related provisions in commercial contracts
• Provide SMEs to Government Affairs and cross-functional teams
• Develop internal and public-facing privacy policies and disclosures
• Deliver practical, business-friendly privacy solutions in a fast-paced environment
