Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an attorney to join the All-Star Legal Team to provide practical privacy guidance to business teams. The role focuses on delivering strategic legal advice, and designing simple privacy solutions for complex challenges in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will assess privacy risks, advise on GLBA, FCRA, and state privacy laws, and help develop compliant, customer-focused products in collaboration with product, engineering, and business partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an attorney with in-house, top law firm, or government experience.
• JD from an ABA-accredited school with strong academics.
• Active U.S. state bar admission in good standing.
• Privacy and data protection experience a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on privacy laws and standards impacting financial products and services.
• Counsel on GLBA and state financial privacy laws, FCRA, and emerging privacy rules.
• Advise on privacy considerations for data-driven products and AI-enabled offerings.
• Guide privacy impact assessments and related analyses of products, systems and processes.
• Draft and negotiate privacy provisions in contracts and agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance compliance with business needs.
