Job summary

Inspire Brands seeks an experienced Senior Counsel, Executive Compensation and Benefits to lead the legal oversight of executive and broad-based compensation programs. This role partners with Legal, Finance, HR, and the Board to ensure competitive, compliant practices in a high-growth environment.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in executive compensation/benefits with strong governance and regulatory knowledge, and prior work with public-company standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including executive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Advise on executive compensation strategy and design (base salary, incentives, long-term incentives).
• Lead governance and disclosure for executive compensation, including materials for external stakeholders.
• Serve as primary legal advisor to the Board Compensation Committee and prepare governance materials.
• Oversee equity and incentive plan design, documents, and compliance with tax, securities, and accounting rules.
• Provide legal guidance on retirement and welfare plans, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA and related laws.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliant execution of compensation programs.
