Enel North America Inc. is seeking a senior legal professional to support the Energy Management and Commodities Trading team in the United States. The role involves drafting and negotiating PPAs, ISDA, REC agreements, and other complex transactions, while providing strategic legal guidance to executives.

The position requires a JD, 5+ years in energy trading transactions, and knowledge of FERC/RTO rules. Travel nationally and internationally may be required.

Formación

• Requires Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• At least 5 years of legal experience in transactional work with emphasis on energy trading.
• General knowledge of FERC and RTO rules and requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and commercial legal advice.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
• Draft and negotiate REC agreements and ISDA agreements.
• Structure and negotiate other complex commercial transactions.
• Counsel on Know Your Customer processes and regulatory issues.
• Support corporate entities and compliance with laws and bylaws.
• Handle permitting processes and litigation related to energy trading.
