Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. seeks a seasoned legal professional to support the Energy Management and Commodities Trading team with PPA/ISDA drafting, negotiations, and complex commercial transactions.

You will advise on regulatory, corporate and compliance matters, and help manage litigation and KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER processes while coordinating with senior executives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required.
• At least 5 years of legal experience in transactions with emphasis on energy trading.
• Strong understanding of FERC and RTO rules and requirements.
• Ability to provide strategic, commercial legal advice and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements, REC agreements and ISDA agreements.
• Structure, draft and negotiate other complex commercial transactions.
• Counsel on the company's know-your-customer processes and regulatory matters.
• Advise management on corporate, compliance and energy trading matters and drive preventive strategies.
