Job summary

Qualifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
• One year of US legal experience after bar admission or six months as Agency Attorney Intern.
• Ability to handle a high volume of matters under tight time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to EEO complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation.
• Review case merits through document review and employee interviews; respond to agencies like EEOC.
• Manage a caseload of state and federal court complaints and participate in mediations.
• Draft and review legislation, rules, and various agreements; advise on accessibility initiatives.
