Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Counsel, Cybersecurity & Incident Response who will act as a practical legal partner to Security and cross-functional teams during cybersecurity events, guiding investigations, privilege preservation, and timely communications.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Privacy, Regulatory & Compliance, you will develop incident response playbooks, advise on disclosure obligations, and translate technical findings into actionable legal guidance while helping scale governance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience with cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, or regulatory matters.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills for executive updates and regulator notices.
• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable legal guidance across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice during cybersecurity incident lifecycle, including triage and remediation.
• Coordinate with Security, Privacy, IT, Engineering, Product, and Compliance on incident response.
• Direct or support privileged investigations with outside counsel and forensic firms.
• Assess notification obligations under cybersecurity, privacy, data breach, securities laws, and contracts.
• Draft executive updates, customer notices, and law-enforcement communications.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, matrices, and tabletop exercises.
