Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Counsel, Cybersecurity & Incident Response to collaborate with Security and cross‑functional teams on cybersecurity preparedness and regulatory compliance within a dynamic AI cloud environment.

You will provide practical, real‑time legal guidance during security events and help strengthen incident response governance, playbooks, and training for scalable controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant legal experience with cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, or regulatory matters.
• Experience advising on cybersecurity incidents and digital investigations.
• Strong knowledge of breach notification requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time legal advice throughout the cybersecurity incident lifecycle, including triage and post‑incident review.
• Coordinate with Security, Privacy, IT, Engineering, Product, and executives to align incident response.
• Direct or support privileged investigations, including outside counsel and forensic firms.
• Assess notification obligations under cybersecurity, privacy, data breach, securities laws, and contracts.
• Draft executive updates, regulatory notices, and communications for accuracy and risk.
• Advise on cybersecurity laws and translate requirements into scalable controls and processes.
• Develop incident response plans, playbooks, and tabletop exercises.
