Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced attorney to join the Office of the General Counsel.

You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including EPCs, MSAs, subcontracts, and NDAs, while mitigating risk for multiple business units across North America. In-house counsel with 6+ years of experience will review terms, ensure compliance with public and utility contracting requirements, and train staff on risk and contract policy.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and eligibility to register or be admitted as in-house counsel.
• 6+ years of practice in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Complex contract review, analysis, drafting, and negotiation experience; or litigation experience, including construction and/or engineering claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of matters independently.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Draft, redline, and negotiate contracts including EPC, MSAs, subcontracts, and NDAs.
• Analyze and negotiate provisions driving risk exposure (indemnity, liability, warranties, notices, termination).
• Review contract terms and flow-down obligations to subcontractors.
