You will lead drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts, provide strategic guidance on change orders, claims, and disputes, and train non-legal teams on relevant issues.

Qualifications

• Licensed Attorney with 10–15 years of experience in construction law, focusing on EPC transactions.
• Experience leading negotiations of construction contracts or disputes with sophisticated counterparties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of complex construction agreements (EPC, subcontracts, supply and procurement).
• Provide strategic guidance on contract interpretation, change orders, claims management, disputes avoidance, and day-to-day issues.
• Prepare and present training to non-legal business operators on legal issues in construction.
• Manage communications and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment and direct paralegal support.
• Advise business teams including executives on commercial, operational, and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with the legal team nationwide to implement enterprise-wide risk management approaches.
