Dow Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Counsel to provide legal guidance across commercial and transactional matters in the Hydrocarbons, Feedstocks and Energy & Climate sectors. You will partner with business teams to simplify complex issues while safeguarding the company's interests.

Ideal candidates hold a JD or LLM, have at least 4 years in-house or transactional experience, and are admitted to a US bar. Domestic relocation is available and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Formación

• Juris Doctor or LL.M. degree.
• At least 4 years of in-house or corporate/transactional experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
• US-based position; must be able to work legally in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic legal counsel on transactional topics for Dow's Hydrocarbons, Feedstocks and Energy & Climate businesses.
• Review and draft legal documents, identify legal risks in meetings, and offer practical solutions to clients.
• Host client legal training aligned with the Legal team's curriculum and risk mitigation practices.
• Collaborate within a team of legal professionals and business clients; manage time-sensitive requests.
• Mentor paralegals and allocate work to ensure appropriate resource use.
• Manage outside counsel per department policies, aligning effort with project importance and risk.
