Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant law firm experience.
• Experience negotiating side letters and investor terms.
• Knowledge of investment management legal issues and relevant regulations.
• Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the Asset Management Americas Institutional business, focusing on OCC regulated funds and institutional matters.
• Support fund formation, structuring and management, and negotiate investment management agreements and side letters.
• Provide distribution-related legal support for institutional products and coordinate with stakeholders on regulatory considerations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk and other control functions and coordinate across regions.
• Oversee outside counsel and manage engagement scope and spend.
