Jobot in Houston seeks a Senior Counsel focused on complex, high-exposure litigation. Salary ranges from $160,000 to $210,000 per year, with potential for a bonus.

You will lead and manage sophisticated matters, draft motions, take depositions, and prepare cases for trial while advising clients on high-level legal issues. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of litigation experience, a strong background in complex civil litigation (defense preferred), and superior legal writing and analytical

Job Details

This is a Senior Counsel position focused on complex, high-exposure litigation.

Salary: $160,000 - $210,000 per year

Practice exposure includes:

• Complex commercial litigation
• Fiduciary litigation
• Professional malpractice
• Real estate disputes
• Construction defect
• Insurance defense and coverage
• Employment litigation
• General tort litigation

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sophisticated litigation matters
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare cases for trial, including strategy and witness development
• Work closely with clients on high-level legal issues
• Mentor junior attorneys where appropriate
