Job summary

Jobot in Coppell, TX seeks a Senior Counsel to lead 3rd Party Liability defense, handling matters from inception through resolution. The role focuses on general liability, construction defect, premises liability, trucking, product liability and other civil defense issues in a hybrid workplace.

You will manage a full caseload independently, draft pleadings, take depositions, attend hearings, and communicate with clients and carriers, with strong writing, analysis, and organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling third-party insurance defense matters.
• Strong writing, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage files independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.
• Trial experience or interest in trial work is a plus.
