Job summary

Raytheon, a leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls Analyst, to join the OSC Finance team supporting the Naval Power SBU and NSS SSBU. The role combines cost control, EACs, and weekly cost analysis within a hybrid work arrangement in the US.

You will collaborate with the MPM and Program teams, prepare forecasts, manage cost accumulation, and contribute to cost reduction initiatives while upholding rigorous financial discipline.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree with related field and 3+ years experience.
• Experience with cost allocation across bases, orgs, or products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Experience in production or schedule-driven environment in a profit-driven business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly EACs including costs, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide cost, schedule, and funding planning, reporting, and analysis to leaders.
• Forecast programs, monitor actual costs, and explain variances.
• Manage cost accumulation methods for material weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Support cost reduction projects leveraging manufacturing expertise.
• Assist in cost estimates for new business proposals and basis of estimates.
• Support Factory/Program activities in business management and decisions.
• Develop and streamline GSCM reports, EAC management, and special projects.
• Create and maintain the control account structure in a manufacturing finance environment.
