Job summary

Rangen, LLC Inc. seeks a Senior Cost Analyst to lead product costing, margin analysis, and inventory controls across multiple facilities, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve cost visibility and margins. Significant on-site presence is required.

Will travel ~50% to plants and support monthly closes for manufacturing costs. Requires a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics (MBA or CPA/CMA a plus) and 7–10 years cost accounting in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of cost accounting or cost analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of product costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
• Experience working with manufacturing operations and plant leadership.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and manufacturing cost modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and validate product costs, including material, labor, and overhead components.
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to operations and finance leadership.
• Support new product introductions, reformulations, and process changes with accurate cost modeling.
• Oversee inventory valuation, turns, obsolescence, and reserves; ensure cost controls.
• Support monthly close activities related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and COGS.
