Job summary

The Senior Cost Analyst at Rangen, LLC Inc. leads end-to-end product costing, margin analysis, and inventory controls across multiple manufacturing sites. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve cost visibility and drive margin improvements.

The role requires frequent on-site presence at plants to support costing, costing models, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement efforts, with travel to manufacturing locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA a plus.
• 7–10 years of cost accounting or cost analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing cost modules.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and validate product costs including material, labor, and overhead components.
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to operations and finance leadership.
• Support pricing decisions, profitability reviews, and cost-related strategic initiatives with data analysis.
• Oversee inventory valuation, turns, obsolescence, and reserves; ensure accuracy.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities to support costing, validation, and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
