Job summary

Rangen, LLC Inc. is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to own end-to-end product costing, margin analysis, and inventory controls across multiple manufacturing sites in the Dallas area.

This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to provide cost visibility and drive cost-saving initiatives on site. The position requires on-site presence, heavy data analysis in Excel and ERP modules, and travel to plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA a plus.
• 7–10 years of progressive cost accounting or cost analysis in manufacturing.
• Strong costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting knowledge.
• Experience partnering with manufacturing operations and plant leadership.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP cost modules required.
• Willingness and ability to travel to manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and validate product costs including material, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to operations and finance.
• Support new product introductions with accurate cost modeling.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities with operations and drive improvements.
• Perform detailed margin analysis by product, customer, and site.
• Monitor inventory valuation, levels, turns, obsolescence, and reserves.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to improve cost transparency and accountability.
• Support monthly close activities related to manufacturing costs and COGS.
