Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Memphis seeks a Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on complex projects. You will be the primary client interface, driving value through accurate cost planning, risk assessment and timely reporting.

The role requires strong communication, self-motivation and the ability to work independently or with a team, with responsibility for cost checks, change control, and mentoring junior staff as part of our delivery culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience.
• RICS accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Review and participate with the design services team and GC in cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist the GC to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimates updates and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Lead cost checks, valuations, and change control processes on projects.
